The KP Information Commission is celebrating the International Day for Access to Information at IMSciences in Collaboration with GIZ on September 28, 2022. The event will be attended by over 200 participants including Administrative Secretaries, heads of Autonomous/Semi-Autonomous bodies, Faculty members of Universities and students at large, including journalists and civil society organizations. Honorable Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif will grace the event as Chief Guest
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Right to Information Act 2013, was passed by the provincial legislature with the objective to ensure the access of citizens to information in government departments and thus create a transparent and corruption free environment conducive for the growth of democracy. i-e. Government of the people, by the people and for the people.
